Search of residence

Can a person that does not't live at my house invite the police in and search my house?

Probably NOT, but I've seen it happen.

Be very, very careful with whom you socialize, and allow to enter your castle.

A question that begins with the word "can" must often be answered "yes" because the word "can" denotes a persons ability to do something, not whether that something is right or wrong.

The answer also depends on the circumstances and I can think of circumstances where it could happen.

Agreed, I did not let him enter I was out of town for the day, he went in and several hrs later called the police because he claims to have found something that was not in my home when I left. So I'd say more importantly be careful of whom you've married when custody becomes the issue!

It could be time to alarm your home and have cameras installed.
If you no longer are married to the bear, or are divorcing the bear, change your locks.

Good home security is worth EVERY penny you pay.
