Have they put up their statue of George Floyd? Charlottesville has a weird history but this is to be expected. What I don't understand is why James Fields got life in prison for trying to get away from a murderous liberal mob. The truth is there are areas in the country that you do not want to go to if they are controlled by BLM, Antifa, Liberal mobs of peaceful protestors. Just stay away from them as they can charge you with murder for defending yourself from them.

I don't have short label to slap on those problems like you do. You seem to look at things in a more black & white simple answer kind of way. I don't see the world that way. For example, Portland's protest problem is not due to just any one group and the goals of the protestors vary. Some are protesting Portland's racial problems. Others are upset at the deployment of federal law enforcement to the city. Other protest poverty. That the causes of the protests are so varied has been one of the big problems for the city in dealing with it.

That too is a simplistic way of seeing it, IMO. These events are not part of some commie plot to take over America. That doesn't make them any less of a problem or concern, but we need to recognize these things as the more uniquely American problems that they are. And the underlying causes of them are not easy things to fix. Americans tend to want simple answers to our problems. But to a lot of problems there are no simple answers to be had. If there were, we'd have done them already and solved the problems.

I was just trying to pin you down on an issue but you are right I do see things as black and white. Hard for you to say it is a uniquely American issue when it is sort of a world issue. Before the UN blue hats come in they will have to change America which while O'Bama was their main catalyst they still have to force the issues as quickly as they can.The liberal elites behind these operations are impatient which is bad for us all.
