Is a resignation considered leagle if it is not dated? it would seem that it cant be because there is no leagle way to determine when the resignation was to take effect. also can a resignation be accepted after the meeting has been ajourned, when no leagle buisness can take place?

I'm not sure I understand you question. I'm unsure why you could not resign from a position. Unless you are subject to some employment contract or other company policy which you accepted as part of your employment, there should be no problem with simply resigning from a position and leaving the job. I don't know of any requirement that a resignation be "dated." The key is when the employer received notice if notice was required.
