A friend has a loan that was not repayed to him for $1900. I read that the limit for pro se in Cook County, Illinois is $1500. Is there any way he can represent himself to sue for the $1900? He said if not, he would be willing to just sue for $1500 (god only knows why). Will there be any problems or can he forfeit the $400?
