I relocated from IN to GA in February 2007. My company made an offer which at the time included no sign on bonus. This offer also did not include an specific time period requirement. On the weekend that I arrived in GA I was offered and given a sum of money that was designated as a sign-on bonus (no time requirement). Which in turn I used on the purchase of a new home. I signed nothing that stated that anything had to be repayed if I left employment within any period of time. I have since turned in my notice to leave at the end of December for other employment. Am I required in any way to repay this bonus? I signed nothing and there was nothing in writing addressing this bonus and I have already paid taxes on it through payroll.

If there was nothing signed agreeing to repay it, it's quite doubtful that you will be required to do so.
