Refund a Down Payment on a new Car

Hi,

I went to a dealership to buy a new car. I put a down payment, signed an initial price agreement and got approved for a loan (did not sign or finalize). I then found the service at this dealership to be terrible. They insulted me and I don't want to do any further business. Can I get a refund on my down payment?

No I doubt it, the down payment is part of the final #'s do you still have the car?

No I didn't sign for the car and the car was not even on the lot. It had to be delivered.

How long ago was this? what did you sign to get the approval-- just the credit application?

Yes just the credit application

Tell them to come get the car and give you back your $$ then -- is there any fine print on the credit app? also depends on how long ago this all took place-- how are you driving w. it? Dealer plates? Temp registration?

I don't even have the car yet. I did not register or sign for it. The car is still at the factory and this happened a couple of days ago.
