What does jail court setting mean

It usually means such a "disposition" setting that the defendant has already had a status conference or first setting, and that at the next setting, the DEFENDANT must "plead out" or move forward to trial OR a revocation hearing, if it's a Motion to Revoke Probation or a Motion to Adjudicate and Revoke PAROLE!!

Such a designation by the court suggests the case is not new, and will be dealt with in the very near future to discontinue its aging on the court's docket!!!
