I just found out that I'm pregnant by this guy I only dated for three weeks. I never had any intention of having any more children, and especially not with him. What are my choices, legally for dealing with the father of the baby? I really want absolutely nothing to do with him, and don't care if I ever receive child support from him.

I assume you have considered terminating, or giving the baby up for adoption? Are either of these 2 an option?

If you intend on having and keepong the baby, all you can do is cut off communication with him and have the baby. He will have to take you to court if he wants to establish paternity and visitation rights.

As long as you do not go on any form of government assistance, you do not have to establish paternity and child support.

The choice to terminate pregnancy is yours alone he cannot protest. If you choose to give child up for adoption Father has option to keep child. Last if you decide to keep child he can seek paternity test and once established as Father he and you can then seek orders for custody/visitation/support.
