Ok well my step son began living with my husband and i 1 year and 10 months ago. he was taken from his mother in june of 05, my husband didn't find out until 6 months later, so he son was in foster care for six months, well the state of FL granted my husband custody, but we are in the process of filing on NC, that is where we live. The now resides in TN. We have drew up 3 custody orders and she hasn't signed one, the problem she has now is my husband will not hyphenate his sons name that would be crazy and very hard for him in school, any way the mother is very unstable she cannot hold down a job for more than 6 months she now lives with her mother, and her other 2 children, she left her husband and within 2 weeks had a boyfriend, she has not sent her son any Christmas or Birthday presents in the past 2 years, and has on seen him once. To make things worse my husband is in the military, and this custody thing has caused him not to be able to be deployed, so any way what i am trying to get at will a juge agree to give a child a hyphenated name?? And just out of curiosty what would his odds for sole custody be??
