Probation

Depends on your state, depends on your crime, depends on your sentence, depends on your probation requirements that were likely presented to you at the time you were put on probation.

Best person to ask is your probation officer.

In some states it is considered a deadly weapon so you wouldn't be able to possess it regardless of your probation status.

While on Probation, is it legal to carry a collapsible baton

I suggest you READ your documents given to you when you met with your PO, or in court after you plead or were convicted.

Be smart, don't carry, possess,or have in your home ANYTHING that was manufactured to be a weapon.

That said, a set of golf clubs, a softball bat, a tennis racquet aren't normally considered to be weapons.
