Per N.J.R.S. section 3B:18-14, if there is a single executor, he/she is entitled to 5% "on the first $200,000 of all corpus received by the fiduciary," plus 3.5% on the excess over $200k up to $1M, plus 2% on the excess over $1M (subject to the court's power to order additional or reduced commission in appropriate circumstances.
