Pro Bono

You may be able to get some assistance from the bar association but I highly doubt that there will be an attorney to represent you throughout an entire divorce case. There are many needy people and not enough free assistance. In most cases the assistance will go towards the elderly and indigent, who are usually prime targets for fraud. Most pro bono efforts are usually directed at cases where the needy require representation in order to get some justice for a wrong done to them. It might also be criminal defense of a charge where it strikes a chord with some attorney as being wrong, e.g. grossly unconstitutional. But for a standard divorce, my gut feeling tells me that will be very difficult and not probable. The Nevada State Bar Association may be able to give you some guidance and hopefully it's a routine divorce which is relatively uncomplicated. I'm sorry to hear about your difficult time and wish you the best of luck.
