During my stay at the hospital for my heart attack, some how my location was given to residents from the nursing home I worked at. The residents which did not know where I was located at and did not need to know stated that my number to the hospital and the room number was given to them by the front office personnel. This violates the HIPPA regulations and privacy act that we signed prior to be hired by this employer. I need help with this.

Why not ask the people who knew how they were able to obtain the information. You can't just blame others for HIPAA violations unless you are quite certain of what happened. And what is the problem that you have? If there might have even been an innocuous "violation" that harmed nobody, is there a point in crying foul if there were best intentions? Not every technical violation of law requires retribution.

Not trying to be smart or anything but it's HIPAA (not HIPPA). HIPPA is seen a lot though.
