my mom has lost both of my brothers to social services, but not her legal rights as a parent. can she sign over her rights to me and my husband (common law)? I am 19 Yrs. old with a 20 month old daughter and another baby on the way. my husband and i do not have any criminal records. we have been together for 3yrs.We are able to support my brother and our kids. Is there anyway i can get my baby brother back. My other brother can not leave the group home until he is 18 yrs. which is in march. I have tried to talk to the social workers in the past but they tell other people to tell me that they can't help me without a lawyer. I don't know what to do. they will not let me talk to my brother. not even on his birthday i miss them very much and i just want them home so please help me. thank you.
