I am an independent contractor for a well known U.S. company. I am paid in commissions only. I do in home demonstrations for a health care product. Also, I am being required to take a choclate cake to each demonstration, for which I am reimbursed most of the cost.
My question is, Could I be found personally negligent or responsible if for example, one of these people are diabetic or allergic, or have some kind of negitive reaction, be held liable?
