I will keep a very long story short......
We have received notification that we are in arrearages for childsupport established in Germany. Many years ago my husband signed an affidavid establishing paternity before the child was born. After that DNA came back that there was only a 60% chance that he was the father. He has never had contact with the child.
We had contact with Germany's social worker last year and requested the paperwork since they had started the process to contact us about childsupport and that the child now wants contact with his father ( child is now 18) We explained at that time the DNA etc. Social worker stated they would check into it and get back with us.
Nevada now is taking action for back support based on the AOP signed prior to the childs birth. Is there anyway to request through the states that we establish paternity.
