Hi,

My now former employer has not paid me for expenses outlined in my offer letter. These expenses are related to business related travel as well as medical insurance premiums. Are offer letters from an employer enforceable? Would an offer letter be similar to a contract in weight legally?

Thanks in advance for any insight and help.

Yes, of course if your offer letter has helped you to claim if these conditions are mentioned in it.
But before as Patricia suggested you should first consult to ypur attorney journal before taking any further step.

If you had a contract it would supersede any offer letter you had. If you didn't have a contract then the offer letter would be taken into consideration but the manner that you conducted business with the employer would carry more weight.

In other words if you did not get reimbursed throughout your employment but tried to get it after you quit the "contract" of what you did while you worked would hold and you would not recover. Does that make sense?
