In February of this year ( and while living in Illinois ), I obtained a judgement against a person in New York. He did not show up for the hearing, so sent him the judgement and asked to be paid. Of course he has not. In March, I moved to SouthTexas. Can I transfer the judgement from Illinois to Texas in order to ask the court for a discovery of assets? If so, what is the correct procedure?
