Were my civil rights violated when I did not even have a week to find a lawyer when i was taken back to court over child custody? When i was there I asked for a continuance due to the fact i did not have adiquite time to prepare or find a lawyer. That was denied.

If the case had been continued in the past, there are limits.

It was not a criminal matter. Your right to counsel is not the same in a civil matter.
