Hello, I am having an issue with my parent. Parent is epileptic, htn, and diagnosed with Vertigo recently. The last seizure was 1.5 months ago. Vertigo 2 wks ago. My parent wants to drive a motor vehicle!! With me being in the medical field I feel that is inappropriate to operate a vehicle at this time. No medical clearance has been given and I will not have a part in this ordeal. My question is....If and when my parent purchases a vehicle and drives..or something happens ( accident, death due to seizure or dizziness during driving)....Who is liable?? ME or The parent?? I do not have P.O.A or guardianship over parent. Parent just lives with me and I take care of all medical appointment and hospital visits, medication rx's as well. I am desperate to know.
