My wife and I have been seperated for about 6 months. She took my name off of all of her credit cards, and everything else. She recently passed away before we were divorced, and I just found out she was about 17,000 dollars in debt. What can I do about this? Am I liable for it? Just to let you know, we live in Texas, and she didn't have an estate, or a will.
