We purchased a home a year ago and the lender omitted the mella roos taxes on the HUD. The amount is $5000 that was not disclosed anywhere on the HUD. The originally lender will not return calls and the new lender wants payment. This will not only be a lump sum of $5000 upfront but will also increase our payments to $500 more per month. We would have never purchased this house if this was disclosed. Can we sue? Can we get the original amount of the loan adjusted due to misrepresentation? What are my legal rights?

You bought a home (a very expensive purchase) and didn't spend $500 to hire your own lawyer to review your contract, right?

You can discuss this with a lawyer or two for free.

In fact, that would be wise.

You'll probably find out that you legally screwed yourselves.

You're probably on the hook for all of these "unknown to you" charges!!!
