what exactly is a no contact. it is not court ordered, can i call my daughter and ask to speak to her.

Is there a court order and what exactly does it say? If it says no conyact, then no contact period.

i have not received any court papers from my ex-wife. all i was told by the local sheriff that there should be no contact with my ex-wife.there were n other specifics from the sheriff.
