You will likely find resources for legal aid at the court clerk's office. For little or no money you can get assistance with filling out and filing forms- you just won't get legal advice.
Do a little research for legal aid in your city/county. It shouldn't take long to find what you are seeking.

I also recently looked for such resources and it took me a lot of time until I found the right one.
