I have gotten a D.U.I on the date of 5-6-14 and I have completed everything I need to do and I'm trying to get my license back but I have three kids and not allot of money so all the quotes I have found for sr22 are sky high is there a way I could go and talk to someone or a judge and get a second chance and not have to have this to be able to drive again I have a job working for the city and there going to have to fire me if I can't get my license back is there anyway or am I going to loose the best job I have ever had someone please give me some hope and guidance I really truly need help thank you for reading
 
You might be able to get a hardship license, or whatever it's called in FL.

A hardship license allows you to commute to work, medical appointments, etc...

If you get one, it'll CLEARLY spell out when you can drive, and under what conditions.

I don't know what FL does about SR22. Some states have a state owned high risk pool.

You might want to VISIT IN PERSON a DMV.

Ask a customer service person about hardship licenses, and how you might obtain one.

A phone call to DMV Customer Service might also be helpful.

If you think anyone, even a judge, can exempt you from the sky-high insurance rates you are mistaken.

That is one of the prices you pay for making a very bad mistake.
