I am a single mother of a 19 month old daughter. I am the primary caregiver. I do everything for my daugher and give her what she needs (diapers, clothes, toys, etc). Her father does nothing for her. I admit, I am on welfare. I am looking for a job so I can get off of welfare. Anyways, I have asked her father to help out, he says that its too expensive to buy diapers. Duh! Kids aren't cheap. He's paying child support but that goes to SRS. He has no custody or visitation rights. Even if he does see my daughter, he doesn't stay for 5 minutes. His girlfriend or son is more important than his daughter. My question is Should I leave him alone if he isn't making any attempt to see or help take care of our daughter?
