Can cps take my girlfriends son if they both sleep in the same bed i rent a room and it is only big enough for one bed i will sometimes sleep curled up to my girlfriend in the bed and he sleeps eather with his head on a pillow at the foot of the bed or behind me at the head of the bed i also sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor of my room. Do we need to put a toddler bed in our room or should i continue to sleep on the floor

Sharing a bed with a minor will not be enough - by itself - to justify the seizure of a child by CPS.

Is there any reason to believe this might be an issue?

There's no crime in being not rich.
If you buy a bed for the toddler, it won't hurt.

Just sharing a bed with a toddler is ok as long as nothing else is happening that would be of concern to CPS.

It may not be illegal but sharing a bed with a minor child who is not yours could be problematic for other reasons. One can find toddler beds at yard sales and on craigslist for a song. I suggest you look into it.

This "could" pose a problem but it can be resolved. As noted a toddler bed when can be found cheaply or even maybe you know someone who doesn't use theirs is your answer. Where this is probably not an issue there are possible concerns that might come up so again your solution is toddler bed or you sleep elsewhere!
