I am 51, my Fiancee is 70, he works part time, I am disabled and do not work. We've been together 10 years and would like to really get married, but we are concerned because of my medical problems. Right now the county pays my medical bills, but if we were married, would my then husband be liable for them? We live on a VERY fixed income and he cannot afford to pay my medical. Please advise.
