Ok, so my sister lives is Arkansas, and my nephew was taken into DHS custody, I live in Illinois, and im wondering what I can do to get him here with family. Please any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.

Short answer: Yes. Usually, the goal is to get the parent and child back together; if the child is out of state, that makes it that much harder. Plus, it's harder for DHS to monitor the child.
