One Friday at around 16h00 I receive a call by my doctor who is in a different town tht my appointment for an operation was on Monday. So that Friday I traveled to tht town without informing ma immediate commander's. On Monday morning I called them to inform them that I'm undergoing an operation and tht I will be on a sick leave, at that moment on th phone my supervisor never said anything. He only said OK. Two days later I was told that I was been marked AWOL becoz no one gave me permission to go to tht town where I was operated.
So a case of AWOL IS opened against me. What are my chances of winning this case since I have all medical documentations but left the base without permission
