hi im 20 years old i have a baby that is almost 4 months old. her dad and me are still dating but now he threatens me to take me to court so he can take her while i work but i dont want him to. My reasons are he didnt stay with us the night she was born or was most of tha time with us while we were in the hospital, he hasnt given me a penny for her expenses, i allow him to see her whne he wishes he sees her in the morning in the afternon and sometimes after i come home from work. I never have told him he cant see her. I toke her to meet his two aunts and his cousin. I send him pictures on his brothers phone at all times. But when i took him to meet his parents which he lives with his father didnt want to carry the baby, he got up and left. oh n for new years he wasnt around for christmas he didnt get her anything or spend the holidays with her. i allow him to be around her can he legally make me give him the baby when i work? she has been sick 3 times and he knew but he didnt cum at all to make sure she was ok. plz help me

why don't you file for child support? Until you file for it and paternity is established, he does not have to pay you anything.

I suggest you go to court and file for custody and a visitation schedule. I have no idea why you are still dating him if you are still mad at him for not spending time with you at the hospital. He is Dad and he will have some rights, but he probably will have to take you to court. I see nothing wrong with letting him babysit when you work. You are just incurring a daycare expense.

i dont pay daycare he just doesnt deserve to take her specially when he lives with his parents tat dont aprove of me and didnt want to carry her when i took her over.
