Missing deposit

We have a missing deposit with an on going investigation. Can you be prosecuted for the deposit amount? Proper procedure was not used among entire management team.

Police would have to be involved and if their investigation proved theft, then yes someone could be prosecuted.

It's possible yes. It depends on what is found during the investigation & if they decide to file charges against anyone.
