Mislead when I married this man!

Soon after marrying this man, he changed and my life has been miserable for the last five years. I just need to know what I am entitled to before divorcing him? He owned his home free and clear before we were married, gets a very nice retirement and has assets. I didn't have much comming into the marriage but now have some savings. What would I be able to get,as far as the house and his retirement?

Likely, nothing. You contributed nothing to the purchase of this home and you've had a short term marriage (under 10 years); therefore, it is likely you get nothing from his retirement.

I'm assuming you two have not had children.
