Son was refused treatment from State Hospital because he is deaf. Local community mental hospital then discharged him unstable. After 3 attempted to stab people events, cops arrested him. Now in juvenile jail. What laws were broken? He is a adolescent.

If you have not already done so, you really need to get your son a lawyer/talk to a lawyer.

Someone else may come along with some additional information for you.

Being deaf has nothing to do with your son's issues.
If you can't afford a lawyer, make sure you appear at his next hearing, and request that the court appoint a lawyer to assist your son.
He is a minor, and nothing will happen without your knowledge.
That means, you MUST stay actively engaged.
He is NOT in juvenile jail.
In Texas, he is in a youth facility, that is not a jail.
In counties, it is called Juvenile Hall.
You also should visit him frequently, stay in touch, and stay involved.
You will always be mom.
He has not committed any crimes.
In Texas, he can only commit delinquent acts, and will not be convicted, merely adjudicated.
He was NOT arrested, he is merely detained.

In fact, when you appear at his next hearing, he can probably be released to you custody.
Texas does not wish to keep children away from their parents.
Where is dad?
I suggest you get dad involved.
If you can.
Finally, ask the court, at his next hearing to help the lad get mental health help.
Trust me, he will get that help.
It is the law in Texas.
