my employer has involuntarily transferred me twice in the last 5 years. I am a probation officer. I had an excellent reputation until I revealed I had depression. I filed two complaints with the EEOC, however they believed every word the County Government wrote without talking with any of my witnesses. The government's response was full of lies about me. They claim I have poor behavior and am a poor probation officer even though I rank fully capable and above on my performance evaluations. They lied and said I have had NUMEROUS "outbursts in the courtroom". I have had none. One of the Judges said all professionals and probationers have lost confidence in me. Another untrue statement. Can I sue them for defamation?
