Please advise me...
I got married in June 2015, to my boyfriend of 5 years. We had a son together in 2012. After our daughters birth in April 2016, I found out that this man got married to his ex-wife legally in 2014. I say ex-wife because they had been married before, he provided me with divorce papers on my request shortly after we started our relationship.
After we got married we decided to have a baby. Due to complications during pregnancy I resigned from my job. He earns a very good salary. By the time i found out that I was pregnant he was long gone. This man had mislead me for 6 years. We now have 2 kids together. He has left us, no financial support from him at all.
What are my rights?
He refused to give me a Talaq.
I was told by his father that he only married me to bare his kids a the other wife cannot have children.
Kindly note that he and i are only married by Islamic rights.
