Can my ex take me to court and object to whom I have as a roomate? As long as its a safe environment and the kids are being well cared for?

She can take you to court for anything but probably will not prevail. does she have a good reason to be concerned? Is your roommate a threat to the child at all? If not then I don't see how she can win a motion.

As stated s/he could file for a COC...Whether s/he (you didn't specify is you were mom or dad), has legal standing is another matter. Do you have a no cohabitation clause in your custody order and is your room-mate your boyfriend/girlfriend?? Does you room-mate have a criminal/drug history?
