Here is another good one, this one brings the abuse risk up to 50 times, with moms boyfriend being the perpetrator in most of the child abuse incidents

So this is really not surprising that some people scrutinize mothers when their boyfriends move in. The boyfriends commit much of the child abuse acts we hear about on the news. This is not saying that all boyfriends are bad, but a man who has no biological bond with the kids, and perhaps lack of an emotional bond, he is more likley to lose patience with the child.
To the OP..I recommend you totally stay out of the parenting between mom and Dad. If you do this Dad is likely to raise less of an issue on stuff. I am a step-parent and I totally stay out of everything between Dad and Mom and we all really have no issues.
