Hi..
Right to the point. I was on a web sight call plenty of fish. I met an semi retired attorney.
We talked briefly on the phone only once. And did
some texting several times.
eventually after that we met at a pizza restaurant and then another club for Cokes
Now .... I never spoke of my last name to him, I did however tell him I lived in the Littleton area. which I'm positive I'm not the only michelle that lives in Littleton. Im real careful on giving out precise information. The next day after our meeting I got an linkdin report i had a viewer.. It was him. It said found on google search. Now i do know this is public stuff. This this person ran my license plate and got my information!! there is no doubt in my mind he didlike I said I am very careful no matter who they are. I was not drinking to slip up.
Total maybe two hours together at both establishments or less.
I'm upset that he did this. I feel he has not right to either run my plate himself or get a police buddy to do it. Is this totally illegal? This was for dating purposes," Its clear" I have nothing to hide. Other
then wanting not wanting scary people knowing where i live. I know its out there but without a last name theirs a billion Michelle's.
I know it can be pulled from the police department dispatcher possibly within his area. I could give a time frame too according to his google search.
This is NOT alright. Im so mad... what can i do about it? Like i said he did it for personal reasons.
And No I haven't seen him since.. I won't take his calls or texts.

Nothing you can do. There are dozens of websites, paid and free, where you can discover loads of stuff about anyone. Your assumption he obtained the information from the police or law enforcement are 20 years behind the times.

I hooked many fish there, when I was working down south. Why are you complaining about meeting someone who wanted more info and used the internet to get it? Would you not want to do the same?

You did checking on him, and he did some checking on you ... how is it okay for you, but not him? How do you KNOW he had someone run your license plates? You might suspect it, but unless he showed you a printout from the DMV, you cannot possibly KNOW this to be certain.

And, if he did this, unless he hacked the DMV or some other database with access to DMV records, he had someone else do it. And if someone else did it for him, HE may not have broken the law but convinced someone else to do so.

This is the problem with hookups - they aren't relationships, and you expose yourself to a lot of potential problems (not the least of which is personal safety).

I think the biggest issue with POF is a segment of woman set the discrimination search for men with high incomes, then talk to them if they are nice looking hoping for a keeper. That was how I met so many. Even though I freely admitted I was married and my wife was in OH, they could not resist my charm, looks and income.

There is not anything you can do about it - people check out others all the time. If you are getting calls/texts, ignore them or change your phone #.
