Liberal and reasonable visitation

I am the father of my 8 year old child and my ex had her attorney put down liberal and reasonable visitation for custody. My son will be at my parents this weekend and I have not seen him since Christmas, however, if she has explicitly requested that I not be there or they will not see my son again. What can I do as a father or am I just stuck be denied the right to see my child?

liberal and reasonable visitation sounds like it is still not specifi enough. Do you have exact dates to see the child or is it basically when mom allows it? If you have not seen the child since Xmas you need to take mom back to court for contempt, now, or she will continue to do this. She has no business telling you the child can see your parents but not you. At this point, abide by it then ignore her and go see the child, but you need to take mom to court to file contempt and to get a specific every other weekend visitation schedule or something reasonable.

Do you have documentation of her absurd request? Take that to court with you. If you can prove mom is not willing to co parent and not allowing you to see the child that will go against her in court.
