My husband and I live in Washington state and are wanting to be legally seperated. We are trying to work things out but we are not sure if divorce is the right thing to do. The only arguments we have is about money.
We also cannot afford the mortgage and car payments on our own. And we have been trying to sell our home for over a year and have not been able to sell it without taking a significant loss.
My question is...can we be legally seperated but still living in the same house since we financially cannot live alone? Will the law see us as a married couple still?
