Legally asking Employer for special payment for information

I know a few things about how my business works and am wondering how to legally ask for payment for my information about how they run their business.

The way you word it, it sorta sounds like you're looking at extortion.

Can I ask for a consulting position so if I leave I will have incentive to stay with the company and help them fix the problems
