lawyer charging interest

my divorce is not final but my lawyer has been charging me interest on the money i owe her. i have been making payments but the interest is on the outstanding balance. she told me it is in my fee agreement. they cannot produce a copy of the agreement i signed (which i don't remember signing). am i still responsible for the interest she charges?

hmmmm

they can't produce a copy of the agreement? sounds strange to me. Call the bar association in your state and start asking some questions. If they can't find your agreement with them, then they don't have a case.

I'm not a lawyer, so this is based only on my opinion.
