last paycheck deductions

I worked for a company June 9-15, 2005. On June 13, 2005 I signed up for benefits which would not take affect until July 1, 2005.

I got a paycheck in July for the June 9-15, 2005 wages. A deduction of $50 was made for a Medical Flexible Spending Account. I got another paycheck last week for 1.5 hour of vacation time, from which another $50 Medical FSA was deducted.

At a minimum, I do not believe the $50 should have been taken out of the vacation pay.

I also do not think the $50 should have been taken out of the paycheck.

Medical premiums, 401k and other benefits were not taken out of either.

Since we don't know the particulars of the employer's FSA Plan, it's impossible to say whether the money should have been deducted and deferred into a reimbursement account. Why don't you contact the employer and discuss it with them?
 
employer says

The employer says the deductions are valid. However, the FSA administrator company has no record of me in the system; they did not receive the $100 from my employer.
