"Landlord makes no warranty"

The rental agreement states the landlord owns/provides a list of appliances.

It also says this: "Landlord makes no warranty as to the repair or replacement of units if one or all shall fail to operate."

What does this mean? Who pays if say the oven fails due to "wear and tear"?

Thanks!

The landlord made it very clear in the lease you both signed:

It also says this: "Landlord makes no warranty as to the repair or replacement of units if one or all shall fail to operate."

I'm guessing that the landlord will TRY to make you pay.

But, if you really want to know someone's position, ask him or her.

Why not have a polite, civil conversation with your landlord and see what you can learn???
