Jobless mother

If the mother seeking sole custody doesn't have a job because she is taking care of her 13 week old, what can she expect for child support from the father? Thanks so much!!!

It depends on what state, all are different. Many states do dual income formula so an income may be inputed for you. You are also expected to support the child, but you usually do not get more support because you are unemployed. You probably will want to seek some sort of employment and reasonable cost daycare and you can seek 1/2 reimbursement for daycare as well.

Thanks so much!! They were never married, so I don't know if the dual income would matter. They filed separately.
