Recently my wife and I were married. Now we plan on moving to Maryland but are being held by her ex. He is demanding that in order to move that I provide my pay stubs to him. Can he do that?

I take it there are children involved? You really don't have enough information in this post. Your income is of no concern to him unless New Jersey takes the household income into account when determining child support. (I have heard lately that some states are doing that but I have not confirmed it).

Care to give just a little more info? Not a book just the meat.

id tell him its none of his business. and its not. hes not entitled to know how much you earn.

If there are kids involved though, your wife just cannot up and move the kids. As far as the paystubs, tell him no way jose but your wife needs to file proper court procedure to move.
