My husband and I have been married for a year and have two beautiful children. He has been unfaithful and I decided that we should sign a separation agreement (not court ordered). He refused to sign and expressed his wishes to seek couples counceling and therapy for himself, as he desires to stay married to me. Days ago I learned that he emailed another woman the separation agreement made for us in attempt to begin a romantic relationship with her. I now desire a court ordered separation. My question is, is he entitled to any of the tax refund that we are awaiting? I made 15G's for the year and he made 300 ( on the books). The refund will be direct deposited into an account with ONLY MY NAME on it.
In addition before we got married he agreed to pay the rent and the utilities as I made it clear with my bills that would carry over into marriage I would under no circumstances be able to contribute to the whopping $1500 rent. He said that he could handle it no problem, that he would pay it all himself. He has only paid 3-4 of 12 months of rent. the only reason we werent evicted is because we are renting from my grandmother. If my family takes him to court to get back the money will I be held liable to pay as well? (yes I signed my name on the lease).
