Hello,
Thank you for your time this day. I have an interesting question and concern.
My uncle died intestate in Ontario. Their are no children no parents no wives.
However their are 2 siblings (next of kin) and one predeaceased brother. How
Much of the estate do the children of the predeased brother get their are 2 people
(Niece and nephew). So two surviving sisters and 2 children of a predeased brother.
Do they get an equal share of what the two surviving sisters are getting or 1/6?
According to intestate laws here in Ontario it's all divided Equally. I just got a letter
From the representing lawyer of the estate that me and my brother only get 1/6.
How much is 1/6? I just want to make sure my dear dads which what would have been his
Share is protected and in his best interest as well.
Thank you so much for your time today.

Sorry, you'll need to locate a website that discusses Canadian federal or provincial law.

This site discusses US federal and state law.
