I am all for fathers or mothers doing their part when they are not the custodial parent but I am just seeking information for my husband who is at work right now. For the 14 years that I have been with my husband he has paid child support for his children, I would expect no different. The thing is that now the children have grown into wonderful young men, ages 19 and 20. Now the twenty year old is still at home with his mother and in college so there is no question that my husband gladly pays but the 19 years old son has graduated high school, had a son, and moved out of state with his girlfriend and is now bringing home more money than my husband. But, the mother is still collecting child support for this son who no longer lives with her. We are just really seeking out what we can do and if this is correct for the mother to do? We also have two children at home, one who suffers from a terminal illness and we could definitely use the extra money. Please give advice. Does my husband have any rights?
